Unpacking 31 Days of Scriptures to Live By- Day 6

Beloved, this verse is one of my favorite verses, yet I struggle in memorizing it. I can’t tell you how many times I have written it out on a 3 x 5 card. But I think I will try again. I do know the address of this verse.

Remember yesterday, I told you about sword drills where we would have races finding the verse in the Bible. The address is so important. When memorizing a poem, I will often say it before and after the verse. It is also fun to write it, leave words out, and go back and fill in the words.

This verse has keywords of hope, joy, and peace. Not to mention the power of the Holy Spirit. With my handy dandy purple pen, I just wrote out the verse. I am going to work hard on memorizing this verse.

“Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. Romans 15:13.

Father God, may each of us be filled with all joy and peace in believing in you. May we abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
