Serving the Lord is a calling and when the Lord calls we listen. Over the years, serving in various capacities, I have enjoyed teaching Sunday school and going to Israel sharing my testimony for Global Mission Fellowship. In 1999, I served in Tata, Hungary on a Children’s Missionary Team brought over to serve taking care of the children of missionary men and women attending a conference. I am a trained encourager for Freedom In Christ since 1995.
Currently, I serve online as a Proverbs 31 small group discussion leader, who knew that my time as a discussion leader for Bible Study Fellowship would prepare me for this service. I am prayer administrator for Dr. Michelle Bengtson. However, one of my unsung job and one I love is I am on a card ministry at church and I mail cards to people in the church that have asked for prayer. We sign it from the church so no one gets the credit.
Lastly, several years ago, based on a need, I developed a ministry. A person requested a book and I could fill the need so I asked if I could buy the book for a person who was asking for the book. Since that time, I buy books and sometimes Bibles for women who can’t afford a book to give joy. God is good all the time and all the time God is good.
Therefore whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do all things to the glory of God. 1 Corinthians 10:31
