Team there is no “I” in team. Daily at work a group of us are responsible for safely discharging patients from the hospital. Before this job, as a nursing supervisor, a team of nurses would see patients in their homes and coördination, trouble shooting all in a day’s work. Beloved, what do you bring to your team?
In Chapter 8 of Come With Me, Suzi Eller talks about being the one who sits up the chairs in church. Team work is often like this. When the disciples were first out and about, concerned about following Jesus and getting their due recognition. But Jesus did not plan to have an earthly kingdom, no crown on earth except thorns, no throne to sit next to him only a cross to hang on, no use to argue on who would sit next to him.
Beloved, there is no I in team. [Tweet “Prayer is a team event”] if you are on a prayer team. Our church has a card ministry, as a team we mail the cards to people who are sick but we sign the church’s name. Because, [Tweet “If you believe in Jesus, you are on his team.”] John 3:16

August 24, 2016 at 7:28 amI’d rather be a part of a team than go through life alone. So thankful for sisters in Christ who come along side in prayer and in life.
