“Bring my faithful people to me–those who made a covenant with me by giving sacrifices.” Psalm 50:5
Fall brings fall foliage, the orange, yellow, and brown colors, the leaves turns and soon fall from the tree. The days get shorter, the weather has a cold crisp feeling to the mornings and a briskness at night and one now requires a light jacket for that evening walk. November arrives and I remember the times of family dinners and I am thankful.
Beloved, November has the Thanksgiving holiday. I think Thanksgiving’s one of my favorite holiday’s because there’s no pretense thankfulness. Thankfulness starts with gratitude according to my friend Mitzi Neely. She has written a Bible Study A Thankful Heart 30 Days to the Grateful Life. Each day has a bible study and a journal page with scripture to focus your mind on gratitude and thankfulness. I’ve worked my way part way through the book and it is a page-turner. I love the Point of Focus and the prayer. So you know what comes next if you leave a comment on what God is doing in your life one special person will get a copy of this book.
One Thanksgiving we didn’t have much money, my husband had been hurt, and there was a knock at the door. My church delivered us groceries. Attached to brand new pot holders was the coupon for a turkey and $100.00 in groceries. I still remember the kindness of the Sunday school class that delivered this treasure. I was so thankful.
Beloved, what are you thankful for today?
Father God, thank you for Mitzi Neely and her new bible study on gratitude and thankfulness. Help each one of us to be more thankful. Help us to make a covenant of thankfulness. Let my praise be pleasing to you. In Jesus name. Amen
Beloved, how can you be more thankful each and every day of November?

November 2, 2017 at 4:39 amI am so thankful for so many things. This past few years God has been working in my life by putting great friends in my path. My relationship with Him was becoming a little complacent, and I needed to grow. I was hungry for more of Him but wasn’t sure how to make that happen. It started by signing up for online Bible Studies, and meeting women who showed me the love of Jesus, even though it was through a computer screen. You, my friend, was the first one to show me that love and I am forever grateful! A few months later I began making new friends at Church and they are exactly who I needed in my life. I have grown and continue to grow in my relationship with God! He listens to our prayers, and He meets us right where we are at! Thank you, Diana, for all you do to spread the love of Jesus! I can’t imagine my life without you! Love you my friend! 🙏❤️

November 2, 2017 at 7:17 amI am trying to find joy in each moment. We have recently moved and the move was stressful. We are happy to be near son, daughter-in-love and first grand baby. I am finding joy in things like being able to see our grand son and hear his laughter. Three months old and he is adorable!! Joy in looking out of our front window and seeing palm trees. Joy in God’s everlasting love and mercies. 🙂
