“A heart of gratitude grows when we give thanks for small things.”
I went to church today, I am in a new area, trying new churches sometimes is the most difficult thing you will do. I don’t have any trouble going to a place where I do not know anyone. But today, as I was sitting there, not one person asked us if we were new.
Have we grown weak in our greeting others?
When I do find my church home, I am going to make sure I great the people sitting next to me and those that I have not seen before.
I don’t write this to complain, I am writing this to share that we need to be more friendly.
Today, I am thankful for our veterans and I am thankful for the freedom they have fought for, the freedom to gather in a church. The freedom to vote, the freedom to speak our minds.
Jesus redeemed us, we are free in Christ. Is thankfulness a way of life for you?
Father God, I love you and thank you for giving your son to die on the cross for my sins. Thank you for the small things. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

I believe this is the first step in showing the love of Jesus. I pray you find a wonderful Church that you feel welcome. I love you, beautiful friend!
