“If you knew that God wanted to perform miracles through your hands, would you be open to it?” ~ Erica Willis
In 1995, scheduled to go to Israel as a part of Global Missions Fellowship team, I hurt my back before leaving on the trip. Truly, it’s recommended that I not go. However, my bag’s packed. I’m determined.
Our story in Luke is a parable, Luke 15:8 says, ““Or suppose a woman has ten silver coinsa and loses one. Doesn’t she light a lamp, sweep the house and search carefully until she finds it?” Jesus’ speaking to the Pharisee’s seeking that one lost soul. Beloved, are you a soul hunter? Have you invested time to learn verses to introduce a person to Christ? Do you know Romans 3:23, Romans 6:23, Romans 5: 8, 18-19? A few of the verses in the Roman Roadway.
I arrive in Tel Aviv, Israel, we spend the night in the Baptist compound. The next day, I’m in Nazareth. Have you written your testimony out? Sharing my testimony, based on Psalm 103: 1-6, two people accepts the Lord based on my testimony.
Additionally, the horrible back pain I had before the trip: gone! Our prayers answered. I finished the trip with many other sweet testimonies.
What are miracles in your life? Some one coming to the Lord, healing of an illness, meeting of an online friend, helping someone stay in their home. Perhaps you are the instrument that God uses to give encouragement that prevents them from committing suicide. How about your own personal victory over illness? Maybe you witness more miracles than you know. I know I’ve a miracle in healing of an ulcer in 2010, healing weight loss from 233 to 120 pounds from 2012 in a year to 2013 and maintained weight loss for five years.
Beloved are you willing to be used of God?
Father God, I praise you and thank you for who you are, I ask Lord Jesus that you use me for miracles, any miracles that you would do through me. In Jesus name Amen.
