Unpacking 31 Verses to Live By – Day 20
Beloved, besides telling someone they are “fearfully and wonderfully made,” I love to tell one that she is loved with an everlasting love. I remember the day that this verse became so important. I was leading a young girl through the “Steps to Freedom,” and the Holy Spirit impressed me that she needed to know, she was loved with an everlasting love. Yet, I didn’t know where it was located in the Bible. So, I prayed, prayed, and using my concordance; I discovered Jeremiah 31:3.
God loves us so much. He says I have loved you with an everlasting love; therefore, I have drawn you with lovingkindness. So God calls us and draws us. He knows us by our names and how many hairs we have on our heads. So God calls you beloved, daughter. He says, comes and I will give you rest.
