Unpacking 31 Verses to Live By- Day 5
Beloved, this verse is often said as a promise, yet, it is for believers. This promise is for Christians. How do I know this? It is in the greatest chapter of the Bible. According to Dr. David Jeremiah, Romans 8 is known as the greatest chapter of the Bible.
As we unpack this verse to know is to have heart knowledge of something. All things work together for good to those who love God and to those who are called according to His purpose. So that is why this verse is for Christians. Christians are loved by God and are called according to God’s purpose.
Jeremiah 31:3 says that we are loved with everlasting love.
“The Lord appeared to us in the past,[a] saying:
“I have loved you with an everlasting love;
I have drawn you with unfailing kindness.” NKJV.
Not only does He love us with everlasting love but He draws us with unfailing kindness.
So sweet friend, you can take this promise to the bank, to the heavenly teller. You are loved with an everlasting love and He will work all things together for good for those called according to His purpose.
