Beloved, this verse relates to Genesis 1: 27
So God created mankind in his own image,
in the image of God he created them;
male and female he created them. Genesis 1: 27.
Additionally, we are fearfully and wonderfully made in Psalm 139: 14. So as we unpack my favorite verses, this verse says volumes.
Sweet Friend, we are God’s workmanship. We are created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.
Daily we receive marching orders. That is why it is so important to have a quiet time with the Lord. Henry Blackaby says the Lord is at work all around you, and he invites you to join him.
How do you recognize these marching orders? First, your heart beats a little bit faster, and then you proceed. Often the task is as simple as a prayer or as big as telling someone your testimony.
As you carry out the orders, God enables.
Father God, You are an amazing God, and you enable us to do all that you ask us to do. In Jesus’s name. Amen.
