Unwrapping the Names of Jesus- Day 9
Beloved, two days ago, I met an amazing man and his wife; I love when God allows you to share the good news of Jesus Christ. So, as we unwrap our package of names today, “Lion Of Judah,” we read the first word, “Behold!”
What are you doing to share the good news of Jesus Christ? Behold, he is the Lion of Judah.
But one of the elders said to me, “Do not weep. Behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has prevailed to open the scroll and [b]to loose its seven seals.” Revelation 5: 5 NKJV.
Often we think only of the meek and humble Jesus; however, sweet friend, we serve a fierce, loving, strong God-man, Jesus Christ. We see this side of Him when He cleared the temple, read with me in the Gospel of Mark.
So they came to Jerusalem. Then Jesus went into the temple and began to drive out those who bought and sold in the temple, and overturned the tables of the money changers and the seats of those who sold doves. Mark 11:15.
He had righteous anger to the House of the Lord used as money exchanging place, full of a den of thieves.
Jesus exhibits power and gives us strength from the Holy Spirit. Read these verses in Philippians.
Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, 10 that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, 11 and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. Philippians 2: 9-11. NKJV.
Beloved, Jesus is the Lion of Judah, but another lion is prowling to destroy us, and that is Satan, but he is a defeated foe. He only has power if you believe his lies. So today, unwrap the presence of energy from Jesus.
Father God, thank you for Your Son, thank you that He is meek, mild, loving, kind, yet He is the Lion of Judah. Thank you that we have power in the name of Jesus. Thank you for loving us and providing us with forgiveness of sins. In Jesus’ name. Amen
Daily, I try to share the love of Jesus. Who will you share the Lion of Judah with today?
