Beloved, faithful friends, my sweet Daddy went to his heavenly home November 20, 2017, at 2:14 p. m. He was fiercely independent until the week before he passed. He preached three weeks ago one of the best sermons. The morning he passed away, he told me his sermon on Elisha in 2 Kings 4.
He always said when asked if he was ready to die, “No, I am not ready to die, but I am prepared to die!” The funeral is Monday and I would covet your prayers.
Most likely, I will take this weekend off to reflect on him. Blessings on this wonderful Thanksgiving Day.

We loved him too, and have both lost our dads and so can partly understand the sorrow in your heart right now, the sorrow only the precious promises of our wonderful savior can ease. We will see them all again!
I wanted to let you know that we tried in vain to order flowers for the services, but no florist/service could deliver due to the holiday. So sorry. Please know you are in our thoughts and prayers this weekend and Monday especially.
