What have you heard from God this week? Reading in Galatians and Acts this week, I have heard from God about the Holy Spirit and Freedom. While driving to work, I listen to two sermons and driving home one sermon and music. I am reading God’s word, praying and yet sometimes, I feel as if I am not doing enough. As if I am not intentional enough in my relationship with God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit. Did I mention, I am an avid reader of Christian literature.
This morning clouds fill the sky some gray some white, the windshield wipers whisk back and forth as I travel the twenty-five miles to work. I love when our creator paints our skies. The crisp air reminds me that fall is around the corner. The leaves turning colors before your eyes, the vibrant colors yellow, orange, red, green, and brown. The rain clears the air. Today a rainbow, a promise in the bible that God would never destroy the earth again by a flood. I love rainbows, the rainbow is so unexpected adding beauty that only God can add.
Have you ever felt the blowing of the wind across your face? Seen the vibrant rainbow? Marveled at the glorious colors of the skies? Beloved, no one has an excuse of not believing in God, creation points to God.
God is whispering. What are you hearing him say? I hear him say, “You are my daughter and I love you!”
