Praise ye the Lord. Praise God in his sanctuary: praise him in the firmament of his power.
2 Praise him for his mighty acts: praise him according to his excellent greatness.
3 Praise him with the sound of the trumpet: praise him with the psaltery and harp.
4 Praise him with the timbrel and dance: praise him with stringed instruments and organs.
5 Praise him upon the loud cymbals: praise him upon the high sounding cymbals.
6 Let every thing that hath breath praise the Lord. Praise ye the Lord. Psalm 150: 1-6.
King David knew the secret to happiness, He praised God with his life. I learned to write my prayers from Becky Tirabassi, she has prayed for at least an hour a day for over thirty years. Her story is amazing. She makes an appointment with God one day in advance and then she keeps her divine appointment.
Her system is with the Change Your Life Bible and My Prayer Partner Prayer Journal. The first part of the prayer process is our part.
P- Praise
A- Admit
R- Request
T- Thanksgiving.
The second part using her journal is the LMNOP, there is a section for God’s Part.
L-Listening
M- Messages
N- New Testament
O- Old Testament
P- Proverbs
She uses each section and has a To Do at the back because when praying if she thinks of something to do, she writes it down and this becomes her Godly marching orders. When she is reading her Bible she reads a portion in the New Testament, Old Testament, Psalms, and Proverbs and records what the Lord is saying to her.
Praise is the first section of the journal. When we praise God, we often forget what we need in the way of prayer requests.
Let’s practice.
I praise you because you are the alpha and the omega, the beginning the end. I praise you because of creation and answered prayer. I praise you because you will never leave me or forsake me.
Father God, with my every breath let me praise you. Let me give you all the honor, glory and praise. If a person is lacking anything, let her fill her life with praise. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
What will you praise Jesus today?
