In Chapter 2, of Your Life Still Counts, Tracie Miles asks this question,
“Have you found yourself playing the wonder game?
Wondering who you really are.
Wondering if you are forgivable.
Wondering if you are worthy.
Wondering if you are loved or lovable
Wondering if what someone did to hurt stole your value.
Wondering if you are good enough person, wife, mom, employee, boss, sister, daughter, friend.
Wondering if you measure up at all, in any area of life.
Wondering if your life counts for something beyond your responsibilities and obligations.”
I have played this game much of my life. As I read this book, I have discovered hope and healing. Will you join me as we study this book and look at God’s promises. In Romans 8:28, “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.” Each day we will embrace a nugget of truth and discover hope and healing from our past. In Jeremiah 29:11 there is a promise and God does have a plan to give each of us a hope and a future. Let’s discover it together.
The book is available at Amazon, Proverbs 31 Ministry, Barnes and Noble or your local Christian Book Store
Tracie Miles says, “God will always be the author of your story, but now, the next chapter–your story of faith, obedience, and a purpose-drive existence grounded in the experiences of you past–is up to you.”
Ephesian 3:20, “Now all glory to God, who is able, through his mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely mor that we might ask or think.
