In the same way God, desiring even more to show to the heirs of the promise the unchangeableness of His purpose, interposed with an oath, so that by two unchangeable things in which it is impossible for God to lie, we who have taken refuge would have strong encouragement to take hold of the hope set before us. This hope we have as an anchor of the soul, a hope both sure and steadfast and one which enters within the veil, where Jesus has entered as a forerunner for us, having become a high priest forever according to the order of Melchizedek. Hebrews 6: 17-20
Our sole purpose in life is to honor and glorify God. In Genesis 1:26, we read that God created man in His image. Beloved, it brings comfort to my heart to know God does not lie, he is a refuge for us, he is an anchor for our souls. God’s immutable, unchanging, and Jesus became the sacrificial lamb that was slain, because we were sinners until we accepted Jesus as our savior. God then gives us our purposes. Matthew 28:19-20, says we are to go and tell about his great love and to make disciples. Beloved today, will you go, tell, and be a disciple. Daily, he waits for us to fulfill our purpose of loving him, honoring him and telling other about the hope we have in Jesus Christ. My purpose in life is to serve him, what is yours?
When you dance, your purpose is not to get to a certain place on the floor! It’s to enjoy each step along the way. Wayne Dyer
Beloved, let your dance with Jesus begin today!

March 12, 2017 at 11:22 amHi, Diana. This is your very late FMF neighbour, finally coming around to read posts from last week. I don’t think we’ve met yet. I’m Shauna, a Canadian writer and teacher living in South Africa.
Thank you for the lovely reminder about our true purpose. I loved the quote from Wayne Dyer, “When you dance, your purpose is not to get to a certain place on the floor! It’s to enjoy each step along the way.”
